“Art Is Life and Life Is Art”

Davion Coleman is a multidisciplinary designer/artist currently residing and working in St. Louis, MO. His area of focus is mainly print design, illustration, and digital media. The eagerness to start gaining knowledge in the design field lead him to the enrollment in the summer program of Game Design/Animation at the Art Institute of Downtown Chicago. Furthermore, he spent two years at South County Technical School studying the fundamentals of graphic design. He excelled and graduated at the top of his class, receiving an individual honors’ award his graduating year. After graduating, he freelanced for several local businesses and marketing agencies. Soon after, he received his AAS degree in Graphic Communication at St. Louis Community College. In December of 2013 Davion joined the RAW: Natural Born Artist organization. Since his joining Davion has been featured in eleven showcases in eleven different cities sponsored by RAW. Davion creative workings has been featured with prestigious companies such as Adobe and distinguished wine and spirits such Seagram's Gin. In most recent, Davion has begun speaking with students about art and design, which he began at Marygrove for the Your Words after school program. Davion Coleman is continuing his passion for the field and designing for several companies.
